1. Make your personal style known.  Don't just wait for your wedding day to be here: Have a say in it.  Discuss your ideas for the day so you can both have the day you envisioned.

 

2. If your wife to be is doing the majority of the planning give her a break. There are multiple ways to do this. You could offer to take some of the burden in planning or simply make her dinner, rent a good movie and rub her shoulders and feet. 

 

3. On the day of...take her aside and share a quiet moment with her.  Take it all in, just the two of you.  You'll be surprised how fast the day can go, don't let it slip by. 

 

 

Your main job...Arrange the attire and manage your groomsmen.

 

That's right. This is your responsibility.  Your soon to be has enough on her plate, so you need to make sure of the following...

 

1. Send your groomsmen emails briefing them on all formal wear information.  Give them the list of places to get fitted, the specific date and time for pick-up, and a reminder for drop off to avoid late fees.  To be sure get all information together, even phone numbers, addresses and detailed directions to the locations.

 

2. Assign responsibilities to your men.  Delegate. They are there for you. Just make sure your fiance and event planner knows their duties.
